Dawn McDonald is a dedicated Realtor with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices and a passionate community advocate who has called Mulberry home since 2003. She and her husband raised their large family in the city and recently celebrated becoming first-time grandparents.
In addition to her successful real estate career, Dawn is deeply involved in civic and charitable work. She serves as Vice President of the Mulberry Kiwanis Club and is an active member of the Lakeland Sunrise Rotary Club, where she co-chairs the B.U.S.S. program—providing Belts, Undergarments, Shoes, and Socks to students in Title I elementary schools throughout Polk County.
Dawn is a proud member of the Mulberry Chamber of Commerce, supporting the growth of local businesses and fostering community connections.
Her volunteer service extends to education and youth mentorship, including her work on the School Advisory Council (SAC) at Purcell Elementary and as a mentor for the Take Stock in Children program at Mulberry High School.
Dawn also represents the City of Mulberry as Alternate Director on the Polk Regional Water Cooperative and serves on the Polk Transportation Planning Organization. She contributes to her faith community through her role on the Pastoral Leadership Board at First Baptist Church of Mulberry.
Previously, she was a founding director of Lighthouse Ministries Preschool, which offers a safe and nurturing environment for children of families in transition. She also served on the Mulberry Planning and Zoning Board from 2023 to 2025. In her professional circles, Dawn served as Florida Area Director for the Residential Real Estate Council (District 10) and as Vice President of the Lakeland Republican Club.
Dawn is known for her strong commitment to the community, support for small businesses, and focus on accountability. In her downtime, she enjoys camping, long walks, relaxing near the water whether at the beach or by the pool and spending cherished moments with her family.
