Otherworldly art submissions

The Mulberry Cultural Center invites artists to submit work for Otherworldly, an upcoming exhibition celebrating art that slips through the portal of the ordinary. This exhibition seeks pieces that explore fantasy, science fiction, surrealism, folklore, mythology, dreams, strange beauty, imagined worlds, cosmic curiosities, and the wonderfully odd.

Artists working in all mediums are encouraged to apply, including but not limited to painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, ceramics, fiber, mixed media, digital art, installation, and experimental work. We are looking for artwork that transports viewers somewhere unexpected, whether that place is a distant planet, an enchanted forest, a dreamscape, a futuristic city, or a creature hiding just outside the corner of the eye.

Mediums:
All mediums welcome for submission, but any accepted pieces must be display ready!

Exhibition Dates:
July 16 - August 21

Exhibit Opening and Awards on July 16th (5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.)

Fees!:
No application fee (limit of three per artist)
No commission fees!

Deadline:
June 24th, 2026 at midnight. Entries will be notified by Saturday, June 27th.

Awards:
1st place - $250
2nd place - $125
3rd place - $75
