NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

STATE REVOLVING FUND (SRF) FACILITIES PLAN

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Mulberry will conduct a public hearing during its regularly scheduled City Commission Meeting at 6:00 p.m. on July 21, 2026, at the City Commission Chambers located at 104 South Church Avenue, Mulberry, FL.

 

The purpose of this public hearing is to provide an opportunity for public participation in the review and evaluation of the City’s proposed Water Facilities Plan, which is being prepared for submission to the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) for funding consideration under the State Revolving Fund (SRF) Loan Program. This plan evaluates alternatives for improvements to the City’s water distribution system, including associated environmental and financial impacts, and identify recommended improvements.

 

The Facilities Plan will be presented at the meeting, and all interested persons will be given an opportunity to comment, ask questions, and provide input regarding the proposed project. Copies of the draft Facilities Plan will be available for public review prior to the  meeting.

 

Interested persons may obtain copies or additional information by contacting the City of Mulberry City Clerk’s Office, or by visiting City Hall at 104 South Church Avenue, Mulberry, FL, during normal business hours.

 

Persons wishing to submit written comments in advance of the hearing may do so by contacting the City using the information provided above. In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, persons needing special accommodations to participate in this proceeding should contact the City at least four (4) days prior to the meeting.
