Phase 1 – Reopening
The City of Mulberry is slowly beginning to reopen our various buildings to the general public. We will begin by opening the Mulberry Public Library on Tuesday, May 26th, followed by the Mulberry Cultural Center and Mulberry Phosphate Museum on Wednesday, May 27th. Mulberry City Hall will remain closed to the public at this time. Please see below for all the details on our Phase 1 openings.
Beginning Tuesday, May 26th the Mulberry Public Library will re-open to 50% capacity. There will be no lingering, or computer usage allowed, and all in-person programming is suspended for the time being. Please utilize the Mulberry Public Library’s YouTube and Facebook for their virtual programming catalog. They will continue their door-side service, and faxing, printing and copying will be available only for government, medical and job search needs. These services will be complimentary through the end of May.
On Wednesday, May 27th, the Mulberry Cultural Center and Mulberry Phosphate Museum will re-open to 50% capacity, and suspending all in-person programing. Please check out the Mulberry Cultural Center and Mulberry Phosphate Museum on their Facebook and YouTube pages for their virtual programming and content.
When all three facilities re-open we ask that all visitors practice social distancing and recommend that masks be worn.
City Hall is remaining closed at this time, but accepting payments online and check or money orders in the drop box at the City Hall parking lot. We are suspending all late fees, disconnection fees, and point and pay fees for the time being. There will be no water cut-offs through mid-June.
All rental facilities are closed through the month of June. Parks and Playgrounds (sanitization happening twice daily) are open and we ask all visitors to practice social distancing.
